The Pont du Gard has been a tourist attraction for centuries. It’s construction has historically been credited to Augustus’ son-in-law and aide, Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, around the year 19 BC. As they say back home in Rhode Island, “that’s a wicked long time ago.”
Over a million people visit this spot each year. Linda and I had a refreshing swim before walking over the bridge. Spectacular!
Andy Steves learned about traveling overseas when other kids were in preschool. Now, 29, he’s founded his own travel company and has, not too surprisingly, written a guidebook.

Produced by Culturespaces, with the assistance of Marc Chagall Committee, and directed by Gianfranco Iannuzzi, Renato Gatto and Massimiliano Siccardi with the musical collaboration of Luca Longobardi, this show provides an opportunity to rediscover the significant work of Marc Chagall, artist of Russian origin and French nationality, acquired in 1937.
Digitized and projected on 5000 m² of Carrières de Lumières with walls up to 14 meters high, this new multimedia exhibition is conceived as a journey through the major stages in the creation of Marc Chagall.
I see one of my favorite singers in the world this Friday at the outdoor Arena of Nîmes.

This morning, we had the choice of watching CNN news on TV in our cafe, or venturing to the lavender fields in Sault. We chose the path less traveled and it has made all the difference!
