An excellent film. The Belgian filmmakers Jean Pierre Dardenne and his brother Luc are making the kind of movies that first attracted me to Mike Leigh 25 years ago – honest, gritty, yet life-affirming. I really likes Dardenne’s 2011 “The Kid With A Bike,” which had a strong ensemble of actors led by Cécile De France. This movie also had great performance from Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard.
